Air shower is a self-contained chamber with high-velocity, HEPA-filtered air jets that remove dust, lint, and other contaminants from people or objects before they enter or exit a cleanroom or controlled environment. By blowing pressurized air, it dislodges particles from clothing and surfaces, which are then drawn through the unit's filtration system to prevent contamination of the sterile space.

How it works

Entry: A person or item enters the air shower, and both doors lock, preventing any air from flowing between the clean and dirty sides.

Spraying: High-velocity jets of filtered air are released from nozzles in the walls and ceiling for a set period, scrubbing the person's or item's surface.

Particle removal: The air, along with the dislodged particles, is drawn into the unit's base and vacuumed out.

Filtration: The air is then filtered through multiple pre-filters and high-efficiency HEPA or ULPA filters, trapping the contaminants.

Recirculation: The cleaned air is then recirculated back through the nozzles to continue the cleaning cycle.

Exit: Once the cleaning cycle is complete and the air has cleared, the second door is unlocked, allowing the person or item to exit into the clean environment.
